Robert M. Burns has been engaged in marketing and ownership of investment real estate for 20+ years. Robert' extensive background provides his clients with skills in analysis of investments and negotiating skills that help his clients attain higher return on investment (ROI) yields. Additionally, Robert has developed and maintains a comprehensive database of virtually every apartment investment (4 Units and up, adult family homes, and retail investments of (500,000 and up) in the SW Snohomish County area. When working with Robert, clients enjoy the benefit of current market knowledge when making decisions about their real estate portfolio. This type of specialization gives Robert's clients an added advantage by employing his services.

Robert also works with investors on international real estate investments in Romania.

Robert's experience includes starting the business in 1986 and working at one of the leading national investment real estate firms: Marcus & Millichap in their Palo Alto, California office as well as their Bellevue, Washington office. He has also specialized in the local apartment & retail markets with small local brokerage firms since 1992.  Robert has been with small brokerages around the Puget Sound area since 1997.  Robert joined Connect Realty in September of 2008 because of the ability to build teams.

In addition to being a successful commercial broker, Robert also has been successful in the network marketing business since the mid-90's.  Network marketing has been a business that continues to provide monthly checks to Robert to this day from marketing activities that were conducted more than ten years back in some cases.  This is an exciting and powerful way to increase your income.  It provides leverage, residual income and diversification of your income.  This is particularly important for Realtors as a hedge when a market changes - as it has in 2008 & 2009 in real estate.  Many real estate professionals are having to leave the business because they have no income other than real estate and when a large drop in sales occurs, as it did in 2008 & 2009, they have no hedge.  Robert has the knowledge of how to build teams and educate, support and motivate them.  If you are interested in creating that hedge, whether you are in real estate or another industry, Robert can help you do so.  This team building concept provides leverage to the team builder and allows them to enjoy diversified income from a potentially large organization for many years.  Imagine being able to actually take time off and have your income increase while you are on vacation - imagine . . .

This combination of successful broker and successful team-builder is unusual.  Having the skill in both areas is important when you want to build teams of agents and brokers in real estate.  There are agents/brokers that have a lot of skill in real estate and little or none in network marketing and network marketers that have little or no success in real estate brokerage.  It's rare to find someone that has had a lot of success in both.  This is an important consideration when choosing a team to be affiliated with; do they have evidence of success in both industries?

Robert lives with his wife Ana and two children in Mill Creek, WA and enjoys fly-fishing, hiking and travel in addition to his new hobby of learning how to trade in the Forex market.
